I'm sure they messed up a few times because it's a small performance and they didn't bother to rehearse.

I think Jemaine is drunk here. He has red-eyes, he messes up the lyrics and the rhythm many times, he cannot even sing and play at the same time for the whole song, as he usually does. And probably Bret is angry with him, that's why he's not in the mood...
:)
However,
flight of the conchords rock!
they are simply great, great lyrics, brilliant songs :))))

Not as good as other performances, but still good. Like someone else said, I think they were mainly just nervous, since their voices didn't sound as good as they normally do. Or just had a bad day - that happens to everyone.
Also, to whoever said they're reusing songs, they kind of have to - they're not going to write a new song for every performance, that'd be impossible.

These guys are Awesome and the show was pretty much the same as usuall.. Of course this is old material they would have to work 24/7 in order to come up with new material for every show..
Give these guys some credit sometimes you have a great show with a great audience and other times the show could be the same it just doesn't seem as good cause of the audience.. Laughter is infectious

They were probably nervous. I remember when they did a little show in Aro video store, down the road from where my uni is. Going from that kinda low-key stuff back home, to all this big TV stuff must be pretty scary for them.
And he came back pretty well from that screw up with the bath/bedroom thing.
