THIS MOVIE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES OF THE 1970s! THE REMAKE DIDN'T HOLD UP TO THE ORIGINAL! I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT THE KATHERINE ROSS CHARACTER GOT AWAY AND ONLY PRETENDED TO BE A ROBOT FOR THE SAKE OF HER KIDS! IF YOU LOOK IN HER EYES AT THE END OF THE MOVIE, THEY APPEAR TO BE MORE HUMAN THAN ROBOT.

This film couldn't of been released during a better time - during the women liberation movement of the Seventies.
Somehow, a recurring theme in author Ira Levin's work seems that the women characters get bashed upon than the men, like in "Rosemary's Baby". Why was that?
