God bless Ubuntu. I used to not like it so much for it's complex installation techniques, but my Vista broke and Ubuntu live CD saved all my files by letting me back up to CDs with it. Now that Vista failed me to the point of not being able to start up, I might actually go with Ubuntu, maybe get OS X86 (hacked OS X) too.

Indeed. And they even don't want to try Linux, just because of their principles. In media Linux is often introduced as an alternative to Windows. Nobody mentions that this alternative is much better than the common one. Microsoft has bought all IT shops around the world and controls OS-s they sell.

I know you already know about this shit. Maybe some just-using-but-don't-know-how-it-really-works user finds this comment useful.
