why do people always have to draw comparisons? by the way, these "complex" rhythms you speak of are nothing more than 4/4 with clever syncopation etc. many of these "metalheads" you refer to use ridiculously complex meter/tempo changes with incredible syncopation.. take the band meshuggah for example. but i say again, why even bother comparing, there is good blues/jazz and there is good metal.

he is very good and i like a lot his version of the song but i consider his technique nearer of a piano player than a guitarist.
