Crysis VTOL Ascension Level - Being the Pilot is FUN!

This level seems to frustrate a lot of players due to control issues. While the mouse and keyboard is perfect for the rest of the game, here it can be a bit cumbersome. I've heard people say they can't lock on to enemies with any consistency, or that they feel they turn far too slow to catch up to the alien machines. I've also heard people claim the VTOL seems to be like some big, vulnerable boat that just sits up the sky waiting to be shot down, and that trying to get into aerial dogfights in it is a death wish.

Not true. My solution? The XBox 360 controller. That is what I use in this video. Of course, the 360 controller is only superior on this level. On all other levels, mouse and keyboard is superior.

About the bridge, you have to avoid the little tornadoes, cause they make you stall and crash. Also avoid the big sphere, because it makes you freeze, stall and crash too.
And my opinion... These are the worst vehicle controls EVER!!!
This level and the Alien ship level ruins totally this great game!

In all my time gaming the controls on the VTOL are the WORST EVER, I set my mose to invert.. still shit, set it to high dpi still shit, in BF2 Ive near 600hrs in a chopper I can do all kinds shit in that but the controls on the VTOL doesn't responed well at all

you have to hit the space bar first so that the VTOL pulls up :)
