Leonel Marshall 50 inch vertical jump - Cuba Volleyball
BackWish you could jump like this?
Then check out Luke Lowrey's vertical jump program. It's got a lot of hype but his stuff actually works. I bought his course about 3 months ago and my vertical has improved 7 inches, from 27" to 34". Check it out here:
To answer the most common questions: The song is Insomnia by Faithless. Leonel is 6'5" tall I think that's just over 2 meters. He touches over 12'. The star of Men's Cuban National Volleyball team has a 50" Vertical Jump. This guy is truly amazing to watch.
If you want to increase your vertical then you should definitely check out Luke's website. Click here:

I have a 41 inch vertical

It will be a decreased reach since when your on air, you'll be forced to swing your reach against the wall. I actually have 32 inch vertical with no luck i just couldn't mark the tape. it falls rght when i'm about to mark it. So the record is still 29 and a half.

The simplest method to measure an athlete's vertical jump is to get the athlete to reach up against a flat wall, with a flat surface under his feet (such as a gym floor or concrete) and mark off the highest point he can reach flat-footed.(this is referred to as "standing reach"). Then, instruct the athlete to take several jumps from a standstill, marking off the highest point he can reach. Next, measure the distance between the two. This is the athlete's standing vertical jump

Actually I was wrong...both feet must remain on the floor. My next post is straight from Wikipedia under vertical leap testing.
youpussy9 (October 6, 2008 at 9:18 pm)
No way you need one foot remaining on the floor. You mean one step vertical? On One step vertical, both feet will move.

I just assumed most people would be able to figure out what I meant. Clearly this guy is taking a running start and then jumping. In a true vertical jump test one foot must remain on the floor when you start your jump...that way you're getting a true test. If you have any further stupid questions let me know...

What the fuck is that english?! "A person's vertical leap is tested with at least one foot remaining on the floor." ??????!
