so cool, ive seen in other videos it comes in different colors too,IMO its a really interesting device there,Linux itself is a pretty interesting program, ive seen a few vids of it,it seems that roughly 85-90% people say it rocks, but i dont have it yet so i dont know exactly,im absolutely getting this, the touch screen is pretty trippy as well, and by the way, does anyone know when it will come out? or if it has come out, were i can get one? (soz, but im not really very informed on these matters)

Apple has a patent on multi-touch. This is the future of mobility. MIDs will replace the cell phone. Imagine unlimited voice calls anywhere you have a connection (which is almost everywhere you have a cell connection now with a 3G connection) for $30 a year via Skype. The Carriers are in trouble.

Apple doesn't have a patent on multi-touch, the technology is licensed from Perceptive Pixel. Apple has applied for a patent on its multi-touch track pad though.

that will be the world in only a few short years

Who needs patented multitouch equipment when you can just rig up a Wii remote on a Bluetooth connection to track four points simultaneously? Ha. :D
