I couldn't agree more. When I was stationed in Ramadi we only had Marine helicopter support. They still use AH-1's and Huey gunships instead of Apaches. They were still very helpful and saved our asses a few times, but I still wished we had had some Apache support. Those things stop attacks simply by being present. Insurgents are pretty scared of them.

To those who say that the Geneva Convention does not apply to those not in uniform, you are incorrect: The only thing that matters is if you bear your weapon openly or not. And even if you bear your weapons concealed the countries that have signed the Geneva Conventions shall guarantee that they "be given protections equivalent in all respects to those accorded to prisoners of war by the Third Convention". See P1. article 44 for proof.

Of course we should be as inhumane as them, being just like them makes us better than them. Thank you for your bright ethical logic ehunter2.

rejoha07 - I see your point, but much of the debate so far has come from small misunderstandings in each other's statements. I'm fine with stopping this debate here, it has been an informative and interesting one.
Also, thanks to the person who gave a 'thumbs down' to all of my comments :).

Ah now, goodmushmouth, still angry about getting butt-fucked in the Cold War, are we? Crying yourself to sleep about the fall of the USSR? Well, you now have your own, "small man who wants to be great". The midget dictator, Putin! You've finally gotten your wish to return to totalitarianism. Congratulations! You no longer have to think, act, or wipe your ass for yourselves! You have another dickless-tator to serve that purpose. Get out the crayons, try to keep your chins dry & keep dreaming!

Learn something.54 year old and you know just talk like that.
And what you think you are intelligent if you speak your mother Language.
Small man who wants to be great.

GoodLanguageMangler-Don't take it personally, Vlad. Just take a bit more time reviewing your, "Insignificant Languages of the World To English", Coloring Book, by Comrade Big Bird, then try again. Now carefully translate this old English favorite, "Ass My Kiss".
