ALRIGHT soo tax exempt religions should be allowed to purchase and renovate 5 star hotels and have restaurants and businesses withing!?!?!? YET the majority of the town was pissed INCLUDING THE MAYOR OF THE TIME that it happened. PLUS business 101 aren't you supposed to be a religiong!?!?!? This wasn't Starbucks buying the hotel but a cultish religion that people don't want in their towns, around their children etc. They have a right to know if this "CHURCH" wants to buy property. BUT you are a business anyways and further proved my point. I'll google these articles nao and get back to you.

Theol: So they listed the offer under a different name? That is what you have? Dude, whenever a large entity wants to make a major real estate transaction, the offer is ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS, under an assumed or even 3rd party identity. It doesn't matter if it is a Church, an insurance comapny or even a restaurant. If a landlord knows that Starbucks is interested in his location he might hold out for more money or prolong the negotiation. That's Business 101
