Tine Thing Helseth (20) makes her recording debut release on SACD internationally in February 2008, toghether with Norwegian Chamber Orchestra. This video was made during the recording sessions. Norwegian TV has also made a 1/2 hour documentary about this extraordinary musical talent, which will be sent in December 2007.

yes, but she might have picked up that habit from marching band, or maybe thats just mor comfortable for her.

super D - what are you people on about? In Bb the highest note is a high C. anyhow, while shallow mouthpieces and screaming out doubles is all well and good, it has a time and a place and this kind of music really isn't it.

beautiful rendition though, very musically played and flawless execution.

i'd like to clarify just in case... the angle i'm talking about is the left/right circular angle, not how hight the bell is.

oh, i don't think there are any schools that make you hold it like that. I used to for a while but marching band fixed that for me.
