Okay, you have no idea what your are talking about right now, but just like everyone else on youtube, have to be right and have the last word. They were INFLUENCED by Possessed (from my hometown of Richmond CA) but have claimed that THEY WERE A BLACK METAL BAND WHEN THEY STARTED OUT. Death Metal wasnt even coined as a term until Possessed released 7 churches. Is it me or do all you youtube kids that have just started listening to metal (underground at least) think that you know everything??!?

dude what the fuck are you talking about, their first album is a black metal landmark!! Are you trying to tell me "Beastial Devastation" doesnt completely fit into the formula of black metal?? Black metal bands cover sepultura. Okay, Ill be fair, listen to that shit, then listen to Sarcofago (sepulturas first singers other band) or hellhammer or bathory or venom. Sepultura used to be evil as fuck, all their lyrics were demonical and satanic by nature. Then that pile of dogshit Roots came out...

do any of you fucking children even know what black metal is?? That is what sepultura used to be, they sounded like sarcofago, venom, bathory, hellhammer and von on the first cd. Beastial Devastation is way better than Morbid Visions also.

sepultura started as a death/thrash band then moved to more groove metal with jungle beats!
Pantera have never been thrash they r just heavy metal and started groove metal altogether.
