You just need to take a look at Wikipedia TIMELINE OF HISTORICAL INVENTIONS to see WHO INVENTED WHAT.

USA are the 1° Nation in the World for the inventions. Also, Germany and Japan, are certainly LARGELY ABOVE Britain. Britain was the first to industrialize her country and to become a capitalist nation -thanks also to massive pillaging of the colonies. Then, other country OUTCLASSED Britain already since beginning 1900.
