F-16 Falcon vs F-14 Tomcat Dogfight

Back

Air Force F16 fighter jet (technically an F16N---denoting it was sold to the Navy---but this aircraft is mainly used by the USAF rather than Navy) vs the F14 Navy Aircraft.

Instructors are piloting the F-16, students are in the F-14s. Enjoy =)

Well this is true to a degree but there are these things called aggreements put into place to stop people wiping out a civilisation. Weapons of mass destruction could be the answer to everything but wars are meant to be fought between two armies or forces. Armies or nation states are not supposed to attack civilians. With the crisis in Georgia however this is not the case and i agree with you.

Next time someone misunderstands me, I'm just gonna say, "Blow!"

they have since retired the F-16Ns due to recently found evidence of excessive stress on the wings and airframe as a result of extremely-high-G maneuvers that the Falcon was modified to perform in the first place...

i will add one more thing planes and ships are outdated when one man with the push of a button can wipe a country of the face of the earth it does not matter how good your planes or ships are or how many you have

look guy you can say what you want but before you shoot your mouth off talk to someone who served in korea or nam the reason we could'nt win is because of the fucking politions not getting out of the way and letting us do our fucking jobs they all said we can't fire until fired upon and that bullshit i'll tell you something the person who fires first fires last and the other thing is our media those fuckers should not be allowed on the fucking battle field they have absolutely no purpose
smeary10 (August 14, 2008 at 5:19 am)
The reason you didn't win was because you were fighting an enemy you couldn't see. Secondly, traditional battle tactics, such as carpet bombing, was much less effective than it was in WW2. Thirdly, the enemy were, for the first time, ingrained in the civilian population. So you didn't know who was a friendly and who wasn't. I know Korea and Vietnam mate, Australia was there in both of them. So I can shoot my fucking mouth off. Particularly as I've also served in the Australian Army. Respect.

the F-14 would have blown those F-16s away with pheonix missles at 100 miles the F-16s would have never been able to close
