Indeed all of this is quite true. Go to a channel here on youtube that praises the Koran and write this very thing again and the death threats will follow. It is, as with MANY things involving religions, highly amusing.

The Koran actually praises the holy Jewish prophets as forerunners of Islam. Jesus is also born of a virgin in the Koran. This is the exact same god.

Their spin, not unlike with the Mormons and the Christians, is that the old religion lost its way and became corrupt. New religions always make this claim while the old ones appeal to antiquity and heritage.

Right again. The fun thing to point out (fun because of the death threats that follow) is to point out that Judaism and Islam are even closer. I mean...REALLY, somehow, it's just a coincidence that Yahweh and Allah BOTH hate ham?

Christianity and Islam are virtually the same religion, much as the two will want to deny it.

Indeed, John. In fact the Romans of the early christianity wrote about the insanity of the early christians being completely willing to kill and die with smiles on their faces. If you read these accounts, it will strike you how you could easily insert the word "muslim" and see the very same thing being said today.
Is it something in the water of that area? Too much calium or salt maybe?

Islam and Christianity have that kind of 1984 quality to them, don't they?

They both claim to bring love as they create hate.

They both claim to be religions of peace as they bring war.

They both claim to encourage finding the truth as they foster ignorance.

Interesting ideas, but do you realize that the whole Bible is inspired by God himself? God robed himself in flesh so that he could die for our sins, then he resurrected, and is with us today as the Holy Ghost. Since Jesus is God robed in flesh, and the Bible is the Word of God, doesn't that mean that Jesus (or God) is the true author? Nothing you say can change how I feel the Holy Ghost in my church today.
