but it does take a good ear to see those lyrics and make them into a good song. Its not always about the writing. So if u recieved a song through the post would you be able to make it into a hit??. Cos to me people like simon cowell cant seem to do it without the aid of it sounding like any other song in the market

its his good looks,my mum always said she loved the music but once i said to her if it the music youi love and not his looks would you still follow him with the same tunes and voice but with the looks of bernard manning and after thinking about it for a while she said probably not.real music doesnt depend on the appearance of the performer.i agree cowell also peddles the same tripe

im sure my mum would say exactly the same cos she likes the lovey dovey songs while i like this kinda style. Whereas to keep majority of fans happy he had to steer clear of things like this. my opinion anyway

I believe his good looks do help. But I know many who like his music don't care a bit how he looks at all particularly guys.

In reality, his good looks may turn against him when people think that he's a hit only because of his good looks but not his musical talents and refuse to even try his music. Not every one of his records is classic but there're some excellent ones.

For me now, I find his voice more attractive than his looks.

regarding oasis borrowing the "feel" of this tune and the riff, nowt wrong with that, Beatles were also pretty partial to that. "Take a sad song, and make it better" just listen to jimmie davis, you are my sunshine
