A person that played WoW died in real life, so the persons friends in WoW decide to have a funeral for him/her. But a guild full of nothing but assholes decides to invade the funeral kill everyone there, very sad group of people. This happend on the Illidan PvP server a few months ago.

Even if it's just a game, these people bonded over it, and since they could not attend the funeral IRL they decided to have one in the game. I can understand how some people think that's stupid, but they didn't think it was stupid and they were trying to honor their dead friend. Those who raided may claim the funeral goers had no life, but those who raided the funeral REALLY had no life as they planned this raid instead of just playing the game as normal.
