oreilly totally missed the point! it isn't the drug it's the abuse of the drug...sullum says: you have the right to put whatever you want in your body (I agree!) so long as you're of a mature age. fine.

oreilly says...oh but the alcoholics. well sullum doesnt condone alcoholism because it goes against moderation. we don't punish casual alcohol drinkers so why punish casual marijuana drinkers...these drugs have a legal difference without having much of a neurochemical distinction.

i dont see why the govt. spends sooo much money on drugs when it could make money. if u regulated and taxed marijuana we'd probly have no national debt in a few years. if ppl in jail for marijuana charges were released we'd keep the tax dollars used to feed and house them! shit, the stuff isnt goin anywhere so we might as well work with the hand we've been dealt. plus, if i wana shoot up and die from overdose then its my own damn business! so step off oreilly ass munchers! geez!

he really should have brought up amsterdam the only real drug problem they have there is teens getting to drunk and dying in frat parties and thats much the same here just there everything legal ... its been proven thats saying yes it is no good being anti something it just leads to an increase in the problem dont be anti war be pro peace or what not
