I'd say 15th anniversary at the earliest, I don't see how they could possibly do it in the next 4 years though, they're obviously planning to finish the DS remakes, with V and VI, then they have yet to finish the "Fabula Nova Crystalis", on top of that they have a lot of new IP's and the Dragon Quest franchise.

There's no rush, it's inevitably going to happen at some point, it's in there interests to remake the best selling game in the franchise, and they know it.

I have a feeling they are making a new one, what with all the FF7 related stuff they have come out with lately. (FF7:AC, Cell Phone Game, Dirge of Cerberus, Crisis Core.) I just have a feeling that it'll be the game that caps off the 10th anniversary of FF7.

ok i bought a mic that sucks for $50 but i want the socom mic but i only have $150 and i dont like socom and i want little big planet and resistance 2 and i my parents pre-ordered cod5 and far cry2 so what should i do little big planet or socom and also should i sell my crappy mic because the guy at gamestop said he would only give me $8 bucks.... please respond

it's NOT a remake, it was a tech demo to show people what ff7 would look like IF it was remade for the ps3. Square-Enix have already said that there won't be a remake
