john piper is a tool. Love is love regardless where it comes from and christ upholds that more than any other knowledge. love is love that all humans partake in. Therefore it is common ground. I am sure christ looks at unbelievers love sometimes and thinks they are better than his own believers. It is only a prejudice badge christians wear on there arm causing ripples in the water. We are all sinners. Christians are hypocrites. It doesn't matter cause there is no hell. Challenge me please.

Christianity has nothing to do with who's better than who. The Bible clearly says that "their is none righteous, not even one"
Rom 3:1. If we stand in front of an All righteous God who gave us ten commandements and WE broke even one of em. Then we should all die... (You lied right in your lifetime) So Christianity doesn't teach us who's good. It says how BAD we are and that someone good, sinless paid the price for us...

Now! It doesn't mean we should respect other religions...But we know clearly that they have No idea of God. It's like speaking of an imaginary being. Their god don't exist simply... We must share the truth and I know that you hate christians because we speak like we know "everything" (which is a lie)... but we believe the best thing we can offer is Christ ! Period ! Not religion, not moral values but the Son of God himself which teaches us how to live...

I meant "It doesn't mean we shouldn't respect other religions"

Actually, there are righteous people. Christ said to do GOOD to your enemies. See the bible is contradictory. Why do you believe the bible when we do not have the original autograph of scriptures. Only copies that have been changed over the years.

But he says to do good to our enemies as it says : "so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven". But how can we be sons of the Father if we are sinful as I said? By abiding in Christ , the sinless one... (John 15 1-10)
dave1122drum (October 6, 2008 at 5:33 am)
Even when you are abiding in christ your acts of goodness are no different than a nonbelievers act of goodness. Helping an old lady cross the street is helping an old lady cross the street. The only difference is that a christian is wearing a badge that says christian on it so to speak. The substance of the act is the same between nonbeliever and believer. A lot of "abiding in christ" is general golden rule behavior that many nonbelievers do do.

You are getting apart from what i'm trying to make u understand... How can you know what's good ? If there's no objective truth of what's good? We know what's good because there is something "Gooder" that instilled in us a sense of goodness. But AGAIN ... we tend to cheat, lie, hurt people for our own GOOD(sin) ... You still didn't answer that part by the way..

nunfonseca:"We live in the midst of a fallen Creation, which is decomposing because of sin; ie, rebellion against God and His order"
And the evidence for this assumption can be found where ?
nunfonseca (October 4, 2008 at 2:45 am)
I did not state there was perfection. We can see inteligence, harmony in the cosmos (which means 'order' by the way) - and it is contradictory to say that this must have come out of chance, which is the opposite of all this. When you state that there is also chaos in the universe you are actually confirming the Bible. We live in the midst of a fallen Creation, which is decomposing because of sin; ie, rebellion against God and His order.
