I totally agree, part of why Joey was so good was the tension that built. Even if the guitar solos didn't quite compare, it just makes it that much more exciting.

i think i'm not inside jazz enough to know why pat martino chose to repeat the same 3-4 notes from 2:30 to 3:30 in his solo... it seems to be a little bit annoying

anyway, escellent version of the song, really well played :D
