operation flashpoint is by far the best army game ever created, i will be getting operation flashpoint for my PC for sure.. there is no fucking way im gonna play it with shitty control pad and slow radio comands.. and imagine all the comunity addons that will come :) its gonna be awsome :D

I loved this game when it came out.HUGE terrain, freedom to go wherever you like. The sun sets and rises you can see rainstorms approaching.
If you want to run off and hide in the woods 5 km away you can do,lol.
You can use tractors, trucks etc too which is faster than walking.
One hit by the enemy and youre dead which is probably more realistic than taking 50 or so bullets.
The absolutely massive maps were groundbreaking and still are.

The mission editor is okay and simple to use, if you know how to use it. Just experiment a bit and you'll see the result.

Oh, well, it's still a VERY good game.

Maybe I'm just an idiot but I can't figure out for the life of me how to set the starting altitude of a plane, or program a helicopter not to take off until every soldier is loaded on board. These are basic mission elements that aren't made even remotely clear.
