Keb and Stevie ray are both totally different players and most proberly had different influences, Keb has a more delta blues sound where stevie was flat out supercharged blues Both are great and there music will live on forever

Stevie's licks were nothing new either he just had a way of doing it.

I beg to differ , stevie brought to the table a new sound of the electric blues

I agree, Stevie had a new, fresh sound. He put a new spin on Blues. But he was a traditionalist more than an innovator.

WRONG !! "When Things Go Wrong, It Hurts Me Too" is NOT from John Mayall (Mayer????) but written by the great Tampa Red (=Hudson Whittaker) in 1940!! John Mayall 'stole' "Hurts Me Too" from Elmore James who made it a great hit in the 1950ties.
Keb Mo (= Kevin More) is doing here a very wonderful rendition of this blues-evergreen.
