When we get MKV in place we'll be able to stop "what they throw" including the decoys. Right now we are vulnerable to the decoys. Go check yourself, I hope you don't work where I do, you're a moron.

With projects in place like HAARP and MTHEL... Vulnerable.. I beg to differ ;)
but good to know you on our side.. Where do you work? Lockheed? Raytheon? or what?

I'll just say 'we never forget who we're working for...'

Since you work at the CI ehm that one agency. Would you know how effective mirror coating would be against laser interceptors? Me and the Al Qaeda crew are planning to wrap our missiles in tin foil.
billyjackskin (August 26, 2008 at 10:05 pm)
It's very effective, almost as good as the diaper on your head. Make sure you use extra heavy duty Reynold's wrap too. That cheap stuff just don't cut it. Happy barbecueing you. AlQaeda kabobs....ain't nothin' like it (except fried rat is close) You funny too!

Aww such fragile toes you have!
Seriously though I was wondering because I've heard it before. Is that effective, reflective balistic missiles? The original MDI used space based mirrors for it's lasers as well. I mean if defeating those laser is that simple the money may be better spend on kinetic weapons than ABL as James Bond-esque awesome as it may be.
billyjackskin (August 26, 2008 at 11:17 pm)
The particular wavelengths of the High energy Laser beams will destroy any mirrored coatings on a missile. To be reflected the lasers optics are made with special coatings and finishes that have to exactly match the laser so they don't heat up and burn.

Alright I suspected something like that may have been relevant. Reasuring. Anyway thanks for clearing it up.
