Not in 1 on 1 fight. NATO planes flew in groups while Serbian Migs were sent at them 1 at a time because Serbia only had about 14 Migs 29 at the time.

the video is based on a manouver between swiss and german airforce 2004 in Dübendorf where they practice Dogfights.
On short distances, the mig often/almost won, but at large distances (BVR) the Hornet always beat the mig
