BOTTOMLINE PERIOD!!!! NO FURTHER ARGUMENTS NEEDED... The U.S.A.F. is still far and away leaps and bounds miles and miles ahead of any airforce in terms of numbers, capabilities, force projection, technolgies , space vehicles, intelligence gathering , training hours, pay, morale,etc ..etc .. etc.. all of those points another airforce and their planes are in the end MOOT!! because when it comes down to nut cutting time i'll take my chances with the raptor(understatement)

sorry but cloaking devices aren't sci fi.. ever heard of RAM?? yeah, exactly, plus the f-22 has incredible manuverability and has a stealth image enhanced by platform allignment, besides, those SAM sites would be gone because of the f-35's or apaches destroying them, I agree that the russians are making better planes, but the f-22 outpeforms all of them in almost all areas of combat, even our own advanced radars can't pick up an f-22 if they dont have their transponders on, sorry, but we win!

RAM is not a "cloaking device" and has it's technological limitations. For every weapon, there is a countermeasure. Historically, it's always been that way. RAM, and platform alignment can not counter new generation optic electronics being developed by Russia. Small countries don't have access or the capabilities to develop such systems, so they will be easy targets as well as their air defense infrastructure, and command control centers. The US picks it's opponents carefully.

How can an F-22 or any fighter plane for that matter outmaneuver a later generation SAM like the S-400 which flies towards it's intended target at nearly 5 km per second! Sorry, "warp drive", and "cloaking devices" are still SCIENCE FICTION:)

Not only were the jets found to be superior, but the pilots as well. I quote "They do things that us Americans wouldn't do. On the verge of reckless, but they never cross that line."

The Mig29 doesn't have a good combat record. It never shot down any Western-made jet.The F16 Block15 is a much better choice for countries which cannot afford first grade jet fighters like F15 or Eurofighter.Older F16s are much cheaper but slightly better than Su30s.

You have very little knowledge of what MiGs can do in skilled, capable hands! For instance, India has maintained air superiority over the Pakistani air force for years! Even older MiG-21s from the InAF have shot down western made fighters like the F-16 flown by the PAF. The PAF received it's training from the USAF, but they still can't win against India. Believe me that a MiG-29, or the SU-30 MKI in the hands of the InAF can match any western adversaries.

Oh I almost forgot to mention as most people are already aware that the USAF has consistently been outclassed in mock air combat exercises against India, and Germany; both which flew Russian aircraft. And get this...US pilots are advised by their superiors to never accept mock combat challenges from the Russian Air Force, if that tells you anything about the so called "inferior" performance of the MiG fighters.

Mock air combats are just mock air combats. The real history proved otherwise. This is the reason why former MiG users are now buying F-16s and Gripens. The US has also much better logistics and system integration.
