Thats true just like in the war on terror most of the casualties in Iraq and afghanistan are civilians. Some things never change.

The Russians killed approx 1000000 and still lost. Winning wars is not decided on bodycounts. The Russians lost 25000000 on the Eastern front and they won ww2.Ill trained and equiped troops can still win wars its their homeland they have nowhere to go.The war was started in 2001 and coalition casualties are rising each year.The Taliban are taking on the whole NATO alliance and are still fighting and winning. Never underestimate your enemy is the 1st rule of war.

Actually British forces can do alot about the taliban...Killing them usually.

Taliban fighters actually aren't very good at all. They use innaccurate weapons, they're notoriously bad shots anyway. They use radios that allow Allied forces to listen in. They have no dicipline or proper structure. And it shows. Especially since Taliban casualties are now around the 30,000 mark and combined allied casualties are somewhere around 900
