if it flies too fast you can't get accurate photographic data but it also makes up for its speed by flying above the average range of most radar

my dad's company (Northrup Grumman) actually designed this plane and when you consider that no pilot needs to be trained to fly this and their is no cockpit requirement since the plane is unmanned the Global Hawk is actually cheaper than the U2 all said and done
