Richard "Mack" Machowicz looks at the upgrade for the M-16/M4 family of assault rifles.

Bio: Richard "Mack" Machowicz's expertise with soldier craft and military hardware comes from his experience as a 10-year veteran of the U.S. Navy SEALs. During his service tenure, he participated in numerous tactical operations with SEAL Team ONE and TWO. While at SEAL Team TWO he was attached to the training cadre as the Leading Petty Officer of Land, Mountain and Arctic Warfare.

Mack has over 20 years experience in the martial arts, studying such systems as muay thai boxing, Jeet Kune Do, kickboxing, aikido, jujitsu, savate, arnis and karate. if its hollow-pointed yes, but full metal jackets will more than likely pass right through because it has a high velocity, the 6.8 is bigger, has more mass and although its slower it still has a high velocity so it transfers more energy into the target and flies flatter than the AKs 7.62 round

but doesnt 5.56 tumble? causing masssive internal damage?

lol this reminds me of something while russia is now producing the ak-74 the smaller caliber ak-47 so its more accurate and still has kick while we might be upgrading to a new round a bigger one lol but yes the ak-47 is powerful but its not logical whats the point of power if you cant hit anything?

what happened to caseless ammunition? did they drop it or was there problems because that seemed like a good idea...
Echsenkessel (October 12, 2008 at 2:16 am)
dumb yanks like to campare their new stuff with old russian ak-47 like they always do how ironic, why they didn't compared it with An-94 ? Oh i forgot it's discovery channel !
sgtscooch (October 12, 2008 at 3:01 am)
They don't compare it to the An-94 becuase insurgents aren't using them. They mostly use Ak-47s. Not An-94s.
Echsenkessel (October 12, 2008 at 4:48 am)
i know poor countrys use ak-47 it's cheap and reliable the guy here compares the m468 with the ak-47 in bullet speed, reloading and accuracy. that's clearly. I saw videos where yankees compare abrams vs t-55,t-64 or f-15 vs mig-23 and then you hear the silly fanboys here crying americans are the best. This is just stupid, but of course it's "Discovery Channel".
Echsenkessel (October 12, 2008 at 4:53 am)
not to mention hollywood movies like, rambo or jarhead LOL
diehardcanucker (October 11, 2008 at 10:58 pm)
their cheating he shoots the m16 at the torsle area while he shoots the m468 at the head thats how it knocks it down
phillipklemenov (October 11, 2008 at 10:41 pm)
