KA-50 Kamov presentation video

The KA-50 is a state-of-the-art and powerful battle helicopter(also the first and only helicopter with ejection seat) which is in limited service with the Russian Air Force. This aircraft is not fielded. Only a handful of prototypes exist, and it has not yet been approved for full-scale production. There are two versions of the Hokum. The Ka-50 Hokum-A is a single seat close support helicopter and the Ka-52 Hokum-B two seat trainer and combat version.

The concept of a pilot without gunner is wrong. To hard to fly helo and manage weapon systems. I am glad the russians selected the Mi-28 as their attack helicopter.
But the double seated kamov was far better.

12 right now in Russian Army and whole order is minimum 68 helos for 2015 - this information from Russian Federation Ministry of Defence

Yes, Old. The design is over 25 years old. and your broke ass can't afford them anyway. That is why you only have 16 of them. You wont see 12 more until 2015.

And do you think apache is a new design, stupid americans, its much older than the kamov wise ass, the counter rotating blade concept is definitely old but not the kamov. Your country space shuttle program itself is old yet they still using it.

Your information is not correct. This airship was designed over 20s ago and Has many out dated features. The guidance system is more coparable to the 80s cobra. The apache has a climb rate of 2500 FT per min. shark is 1900ft per min. shark combat weight is 21,600 lbs the appache is 18,000. The shark is way to heavy to out manouver the appache. AND Your whole country has only 16 of them. Do you have any idea how many apaches the US has? do you? come prepared to class and you wont be schooled.

Your comment sounds like the German Wehrmacht High Command, they will be easybeats, they dont have any equipment, and then hello, they are confronted with vast amounts of arms.The Russian military industrial complex (mic) operates on a Market Economy Model, always has during the Communist era. The Western Powers publicly downplay the power of the Russian military, someone is going to believe that one day and are in for a huge shock.
