when eddie sings its like a scene from the exorcist, like something takes him over which allows him to deliver the amount of emotion that he does here especially at the end.

I'm a huge fan of both Pearl Jam and Nirvana, but i personally like Nirvana's unplugged better, i don't know if they are a better band though, i just love their unplugged gig.

its a shame they always need to be compared to each other though.

they dont,theyre two different bands singing in the same era.bothe ground breaking(grunge wise) and have had the same effect on the same generation but think about it,ill bet for different reasons. a song like black got to me one way then nirvanas something in the way would hit me from the next angle...being a teenger in the early 90s was confusing. but the music fucking rocked.

alice in chains, nirvana and pearl jam are/were great and DIFFERENT bands. To each their own, but stop comparing them.
