Any1 knows, whats the purpose of the flashing light attached on the back of the helmet? Is it for the air support to distinguish enemy from friendlies?

That is a IR Beacon to alert the air support of friendlys yes, used in close air support missions

Ohh, wow, so that light is seen using the green goggles and that light directs the pilot to engage there, thats really smart idea, I bet that light would easily blind someone.

It doesn't have to. I'd guess its an IR-Laser marking the target, not visible for the human eye - so is the radiation emitted by the explosion
