horrible attrocities. just like i said in my original comment, he was not a good guy at all. i dont like the thought of him in power so dont go thinking i support anything he's done. the thing is,there are 2 paths that could have been taken.first, leave saddam in power and leave iraq alone, or second take him out and establish a new government there. either choice has very unfavorable points to them. including saddams crimes against humanity as you have pointed out if saddam was left in

power. but right now we can only speculate on the full consequences of the course we currently take in ousting hussein. ill tell u tho that as of the way things r looking in terms of the current path we take..there is no close end in sight to the bloodshed going on over there. we dont even know how well iraqs new government will fare in its region. the question then left is which course would have left less people dead? and what will be the future of iraq if the democratic govt collapses?

these questions tho are ones that can only be speculated on. the truth is,with the way everything is now, much is left to be revealed about how things will progress.this question then is up for grabs for anyone to judge.i have my opinions and u have urs about which was better. simple as that.the one thing that is for sure is that there's really no 'clear cut' winning choice of which approach on iraq was best. as i said its all speculation. i wont be posting anymore now here because i honestly

Critical- you're ideals are in the right place man! However... under our occupation there more unnocent people have died violently than in all of saddam's regime! Many people there hated saddam, but they often say that at least they were not scared for their lives everyday... and that at least they had running water and electricity. Today, many places STILL don't have these basic necessities.

Not at all. But, I think our troops did a great thing there. People were being tortured and Saddam had many people murdered. Sure, I do think our troops should be able to come home now. But, I do NOT disagree with what they did. You, obviously, have no respect for them. But, I DO! They are right!
