I couldn't help but notice that she was so busy trying to generate enough power to feed her laptop and light that she had no time/ energy or free hands left over to actualy use it.
Inovate yeah, but use your heads whilst your inovating. I once invented a solar powered torch.. THEN NOTICED THAT THE SUN WAS NEVER OUT WHEN I NEEDED TO USE IT!, doh

Think I prefer to die. What about all the old folk who work in offices. Whoes gona pay the the medical bills? And As your vid shows you can't work and ride. Why not just put a turbine on the roof while you go and die.

laptops use a lithium dc battery. so if your using an automobile alternator that is already producing dc power, why still invert that to ac? why not put a dc voltage regulator instead so that it'll charge the lithium battery directly.
Anyway, cool idea.Nice thinking, I got another idea of usage for your machine concept.Thanks also.

ohhhh no my legs are hurting me just watching this, i remember all those 200 km /day training.i think it´s easyer "laptop into the wall" and no pain.or just buy a rat and with some extasy the rat will do the job.

is it possible that crashing your bike/ pedals is crahing your laptop system too? anything much or less can damage your appliance(s) but this is a good idea..

If you used the DC directly to power the laptop (via a voltage regulator) instead of using an inverter, you would save around 60% of your pedal power - energy is lost in converting DC to AC and back again!
