2006 in Southern Cal was an "epic" year for pelagics. Great video. Saw a few Marlin on paddies, and watched a few get farmed, but never hooked anymyself. Dream season, with the warmest water I have ever seen here in SO Cal.. What a season.

was that a great white late in the video? Was he on your line? Were you chumming? Got to hand it to you, man. I'm impressed

It's a Mako Shark about 50 to 75 Pounds. Very aggressive shark just like the great white.

I was in a fishing trip on Port Aransas, Texas and this guy caught a 426 pound marlin. It took all night to get it out of the water.

That must be a truly awesome experience. First of all, just to be able to reach fish like that in a skiff is a treasure that most people will never know. Just to have a shot at fish like that costs us several hundred dollars in fuel. That is a great video. Looks like ya'll are using Torium 30's.....is that true. GREAT FISHING!!!!!
