Hans Rosling: No more boring data: TEDTalks

Back

With the drama and urgency of a sportscaster, statistics guru Hans Rosling uses an amazing new presentation tool, Gapminder, to debunk several myths about world development. Rosling is professor of international health at Sweden's Karolinska Institute, and founder of Gapminder, a nonprofit that brings vital global data to life. (Recorded February 2006 in Monterey, CA.)

he's just another of those modern propagandists that just tell about positive changes and don't mention anything about the negative changes. of course people like him. but he is a liar.

if you actually listen, he doesn't say that everything is good, he just shows us data, and it SEEMS that the statistics he analyses have changed for the better, but statistics alone are never an entire view of the world as it is. Make some intelligent constructive criticism next time.

The african bubbles are hardly moving. And considering all of the left wing revolutions in South America during the decades of improvement he showed i have no idea what all these Libertarians are so happy about.
