Resident Evil 3: Handgun/Knives Challenge - File 1

A series of clips showing how you can defeat Nemesis with using only the handgun and knife.

File 1 includes the first encounter, inside the RPD, outside the Newspaper Office, and in the alleyways downtown.

File 2 features the encounter before the cable-car, and within it, as well as the fight up on the clocktower, and below it shortly after bring infected with the virus.

File 3 includes Carlos' battle with Nemesis (using only the handgun), Jill's fight with him in the piano room, as well as the final showdown in the dead factory.

I take it as the egale parts are a desert egale and how good is the gun ( also if it was a desert egale that is a handgun)

Yeah I've tried only just the knife on a few occasions .. but found it too long and too boring to bother with.

That said, it probably sounds like a cop-out excuse .. but meh .. :P
