kirk could be better but he is no satriani or vai.and kirk is just a part of a band.....i think he could write very difficult solo.but metalica don't want a great guitargod....its metallica-the BAND.and i think lars is the general of metallica....and lars don't want long great guitarsolos...-poor kirk.....and so he plays good but not very difficult solos..there is a metallica-dvd,on this dvd kirk is sad because the other bandmembers dont want great solos.

Any one who says Dime SUX is just not a guitarist...that dude was technical & tastefull all at once..more than u can say for some of todays guitarist (3 CHORD BASHERS)

I like that list (although personally id swap dime with evh and put mustain before friedman then kirk on the end, thats unless i can put michael angelo in there)
