Germany probably would not have made a nuclear shell to be fired from a cannon or a bomb to be dropped by a plane they probably would have slapped it on a v-2 i mean what better weapon? they were proven they could hit city's rather well with there guidance system and the germans were even testing ways a v-2 could be towed by a U-Boat to places like the united states imagine the results if they had put more effort into that =/

I saw one of the last remaining Dora artillery rounds while in Meppen, Germany. It is HUGE. Moving the round in itself would be a monumental task. Can't imagine the effort that when into making it!

Man the first one was a Karl gun, deadly snub snozed, mega sized mortar :D but the Gustav gun takes the award for deadliest and biggest.

Agreed. But the waste belonged to Hitler. Planes wouldn't be used against the piece itself, but would be effective in rendering it immobile by the destruction of the railways.
