Even though i have watched all seasons of HSP and seen the bigger pots, this hand is still my favourite of all of them!!..I love the 2 players and the way the cards come which makes it awesome!! The table talk imo between all the different players (even though its about props) and the random players that just turn up to visit makes the season 1+2 more of a relaxed environment compared to season 3+4

gus' check on the river is brilliant. he knows daniel has a hand and that he is gunna bet and that play is what earned him the pot. well played sir!

nobody is interested in your cocksucking wannabe philosophic bullshit!

Remember, Gus had 18% chance of winning the pot at the beginning, and it's what happens when a smaller pair beats your pair, it only hurts. There should have been 2 sixes along with the 2 fives to respect the odds, and Gus would be deader than death...

Eighteen percent isn't "never." Daniel had an even bigger mathematical advantage on the flop but one-outers do hit.

"Respecting the odds" is a wierd expression. Do you mean that the favorite should always win.
