Son, of course this can be played on an alto sax...just lower the scale

it can be played on the alto, but I prefer the growl that the tenor offers. a good player can make both work

A TV station in my area ran the old "Peter Gunn" series in the mid-80's. He was a cool dude. Tough, too. Didn't take BS from anybody.

Too true, AmethystMC; right in the same vein as Eddie Cochran and Link Wray. Had no idea who Duane Eddy was until I read a brochure from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Got on YouTube, and, of course, have heard all these tunes, but didn't know it was Duane Eddy! Shame on me. Am somewhat more "up" on Eddie Cochran. Eddie, Duane, Link, Pete Townshend....Damn Straight!
