You could torture the other three, you could handcuff them, you could set them free, you could even be liberating them from the one you shot. In your scenario we don't know the circumstances of why the four of you are there or the relationships.

Sorry that you want to make a vague statement definite, with no strong basis to do so.

They want peace talks, but launch a fleet of warships at ZAFT. Few nations would allow that.

Probably because NA hates ZAFT and has done everything to destroy them.
Weltall8000 (November 18, 2008 at 8:10 pm)
fleet shown launching en mass, flying toward ZAFT when they are hit, and numerous ZAFT of various different levels confirming that NA's fleet was heading toward them. Yeah, aside from all that, we have no idea where they were heading. >.>

Nothing is wrong with rejecting the DP. Attacking ZAFT for proposing it, however, is.

REQUIEM was fired on a fleet and military base that was currently launching an attack on ZAFT.

Those "enemies of mankind" were trying to oppress those interested in DP.

Which we can draw the conclusion, yes, Durandel didn't want to fight. He worked to fight a war with as little human cost and damage as possible. However, he wasn't going to let his country get destroyed either.

Yes, BEFORE mobilizing the fleet, he was reported to have wanted to negotiate. THEN he sends a fleet toward ZAFT. Like me saying "let's be friends" then I pull out a knife and stab at you.

As I said, you don't need an armada for an escort for peace talks. -_-

Aside from 48 with the NA

It's a pretty big interview for this topic, however, I don't have a link to the original.

Yes, I and Fukuda apparently, do think Durandel is on the right path for CE.

Thing is, it has been established that it was the way to solve the problems in CE. Though I would agree if one were to say that wouldn't work in our world.

As explained, this fictional government works in this fictional world, not necessarily the real world.

Sorry, but I understand the DP.

if i point a gun on 3 men then before i shoot my first target i said to the others:ill deal with you later, can they assume that they are now safe?enough of your stupid excuses,he even did it!if they want peacetalks with him then why did not he contact them right away??he has plenty of time to do so!he was not seen making ANY move to do negotiations, where part did he try to contact them after firing requiem?dont fool yourself, you cant fool anybody who reads your stupid reasonings
annetohtz07 (November 18, 2008 at 12:34 pm)
LOL it was also seen in manga that he was...they only rejected the DP what the matter with that?they become enemies simply by saying NO TO DP?thats what gil implies before he pulled the trigger to requiem.those who oppose it where branded by him as "enemies of mankind" you cannot change that fact!...whats the use of your concept?yet...sights* you just pull another useless one..can you give any better ideas?
annetohtz07 (November 18, 2008 at 12:28 pm)
i though gil was that "goodman" and said he was tired of fighting?before mobilizing he was seen tried hard enough to contact gil BUT gil ignored it,what if he just want to escort the negotiator?YOU have no solid evidence that they want to pick a fight on him, hence gil that time was on the defence position with his fleet ready to strike that time too.
annetohtz07 (November 18, 2008 at 12:21 pm)
where is that interview?what if i say youve just only make up things like that?until i nver read it myself i not consider it,do you think durandal is taking the righteous path huh?..with your current views of DP,i dont think it will solve everyones problem.how can a jobfinder like program enable wars obsolete huh?it will take more than that.gil will surely laugh at your ignorance in his DP

out all kinds of rhetoric, while demonizing the differing viewpoint. Despite communism (or democracy) inherently being neither good nor evil.

"We'll deal with Orb later." Rather vague. That could mean firing on them, that could mean we'll have peace talks, could mean we'll have a picnic, could mean we'll see them in the World Cup or Olympics. You can't really assign a definite meaning to that, other than they intend to have some sort of interaction with Orb, it isn't specific.
Weltall8000 (November 18, 2008 at 5:30 am)
by the way, Copeland was last shown on the phone, but could have been speaking to anyone, you have absolutely no basis with which to establish he was making any attempt to contact ZAFT on that phone call.

Oh, you mean after Azechel already mobilized its forces and Cagalli renounced ZAFT? Yeah, Orb and NA couldn't possibly be enemies of ZAFT at that point O.o

DP, isn't democracy, I never said it was. I did compare a similar concept, by alluding to the Red Scares in the US, as both are throwing
