Australian Rules Football - Long goal.
BackThis is the part of a series of short videos illustrating various aspects of Australian Rules Football.
Most AFL players can kick the ball 45 to 50 metres (49 to 54 yards) but there are a few who can regularly kick 50+ metres. Some AFL players who a capable of this have gone to the US to play American Football.
This video is a 60 metre (65 yard) goal by Carlton's Brendan Fevola. Despite Carlton coming last in 2006, Fevola was the competitions leading goal kicker winning the Coleman Medal with 84 for the season.
