so what do you mean we by then, if we beg maybe we can get the eurofighter, but the gripen is way good enough for our need, its a fast interceptor made for air to air. the americans can keep their bomber that it looks like not even the brits will by.

The gripen is not good enough. It can land on roads, we dont have much straight roads. It's fairlt fast, speed doesnt matter. It has a fairly good payload, external payloads creates draft and reduces speed. The JSF is a multirole fighter like the F16, neither were designed for air superiority. And when it comes to air superiority the gripen is useless. I'd rather have uppgraded F18's than Gripen tbh.

the supergripen will have a speed over mac 2 and will be a multirole fighter, the jsf will be crap in air to air and there is no point in going to eks svalbard if the russians have been there first and said "this is mine". the jsf is seriusly slow, it cant even supercruise. its overall a bad plane. the eurofighter is one of the very best in the world close to the f22 in air to air and can carry much bombs. this is the plane we should have gotten, but the gripen is still very good.

Neither the Gripen or JSF will uphold our territories. NATO will. The JSF isnt slow, and when the gripen has a full loadout the external weapons will create drag and reduce the overall speed. YEah mach 2 *on paper* but not in reality. And speed isnt everything, this isnt WW2. You cant kill what you cant lock. Eurofighter is much better than the gripen, but because of our retard government Eurofighter is out of the picture.

the gripen cant land on roads, it lands on improvised runnways comoflaged as roads made around the country sutch as in finland, they even use tailhooks.

Shut up, everyone in here know you dont like the Gripen for some psycho reason, if you dont like it, DONT HANG HERE! How hard can it be? More fun to spam comments "gripen is shit" and stuff like that than just abandon this aircraft if u dont like it and live your life?
