Saab JAS 39 "Gripen" (Griffin) is a fighter aircraft manufactured by the Swedish aerospace company Saab. The aircraft is in service with the Swedish Air Force and the Czech Republic Air Force and has been ordered by the Hungarian Air Force and South African Air Force.

A pity that swedish pilots do not get enough training. These planes are on the ground, because we have a goverment and an opposition that do not care about our defence. They think this cheap little but agile aircraft is to expensive to operate.

Norway should go for the american F-35. There will be no more swedish fighters after Gripen, we are a small nation after all. We swedes will go for an american or european fighter next time. I hope SAAB will be a contractor.
