The pilot should had let go off the stick, the planes computers were faster than him, trying to compensate for his manouvers..but he panics..and looses the plane.If he had let go off the stick, the plane would had stabilized itself.The pilot got fired from Saab after this fuck-up.Swedish Airforce pilots are among the best in the world,but sometimes there are some exceptions.

the pilot did rise too fast so the plane kind of slowing down and the flyability was totaly gone...and CRASH!

Well, Swedish military aircraft has been pretty famous over the years. I can't speak for the Saab Gripen, but to my knowledge Sweden had one of the 10 strongest airforces in the world in the 50's, 60's and 70's. The Saab Viggen, Saab Draken and Saab Tunnan where famous, and the latter was in UN service in Congo in the early 60's.
Today the government has cut down the military budget to the extent that we barely has any military at all though. Not a single base in the vicinity of the capital.

Usa usualy put a lot of pressure to contries to sell whatever they can. The swedes sell theirs by quality instead. In military business it has always been bribes. Its the most dirty business there is. Its the contryes own decisionmakers and political structures that makes it possible and a must. Everybody of them whants a part of the big investments in their own pockets. Swedes just have to adjust to it./ We are not going to close our military business and become pacifists!

The pilot fucked up.He wanted to show off and did something that wasn´t a plan of his flightplan.These are actual factory infos after analyzing the flight recorder,it was the same pilot who ploughed the first JAS off the runway.
