what a dumbass comment by teslasagan. does this mean i can legally petition against train whistles? theyre annoying too. oh and can i silence all cars, since their horns are annoying. oh and can we stop dumbasses from leaving dumbass comments on beautiful videos and trying to silence churches. no i cannot, and its pathetic you want to silence church bells.

Several thousand years ago, a small tribe of ignorant near-savages wrote various collections of myths, wild tales, lies, and gibberish. Over the centuries, these stories were embroidered, garbled, mutilated, and torn into small pieces that were then repeatedly shuffled. Finally, this material was badly translated into several languages successively. The resultant text, creationists feel,is the best guide to this complex and technical subject.

i love this song and i think that fighting is not the true answer but for the people that is fighting to protect something that they love then we all should be there to help them and keep them in our prayers because they have families that love and would like to see them again.

If belief in heaven was private, like the tooth fairy, I'd say fine. But tooth fairy supporters don't come around to your house and try to convert you. They don't try to teach your children stultifying pseudo-science in school. They don't try to prevent access to contraception. The religious won't leave us alone. These are not just private delusions, they're ones they want to inflict on other people. That is the worst part of religion, it needs to end and end soon.

I don't blame God. I blame religion. I don't believe there is such a thing as God. Religion makes people do wicked things they wouldn't ordinarily do. It doesn't make them behave better—it makes them behave worse. You couldn't get people to hack away at the genitals of their newborn children if they didn't think there was a religious obligation to do so. The licenses for genocide, slavery, racism, are all right there in the holy text.
