Lifeforce is a very fun game for me. Years ago me and my sister almost beat the game without the 30 life cheat, but died at level 5. =(

You gotta try Gradius 2 for the Famicom. It's wayyyy superior to Life Force.

Thanks for the review, sure brought back some memories, wish I knew that 30 life code I may have been able to get past level 4

This game is evil... but I love it. I always just start from the begining when I die though because I just go around with everything except ripples and I'm too lazy to try to get it back again.

Nice review, Gamingpalooza!
I agree with you about how awesome the music and gameplay are in this game, but at some point you have to teach yourself to beat this bitch of a game without using the 30-lives code. Mastering that makes it way easier to enjoy the brutal challenges of the Gradius series, which Life Force is an offshoot of. The boss/music you don't like in level 5 is a sort of homage to Gradius' core ships, and some of the later Gradius games reciprocate by featuring Life Force bosses

So that's what the evil turkey's called? pablo? in the "fatman" episode, he should've finished mondu by pecking his eyes out!

There's definitely a huge shortage of game reviews of GOOD classic games out there.

Hey Lee. It's awesome to see you around here. I haven't heard any recent updates on your page about your condition, so I hope you're doing alright.
