The Gourds - Gin & Juice (Snoop Dogg cover) - Part I of II

Back

This is the Gourds covering Snoop Dogg's "Gin & Juice". Recorded at Bumbershoot in Seattle, WA on September 1st 2007.

It gets muffly on the louder parts, I was pretty close to the speakers, but all in all a nice capture of the performance. I had to split it for Youtube as the song is a staggering 12 minutes long (shaking towards the end of the video = my arm getting tired).

The Gourds are incredible. I love this cover of classic Snoop D Oh Double Gee.

That is ridiculously awesome, I love folk acoustic covers of funky fresh ghetto beats.

Actually thats one of my favorite genres.

Don't forget to watch PART II! There's been 30,000 hits on Part I and only 15,000 on Part II. Trust me...it's worth seeing the whole performance :)

everyone thinks its phish because when you download it off of limewire or something its labelled as phish for some retarded reason.

Amazing song and great live version

Takes me back to the hazy days before fatherhood. Everyone that I knew had this song on cd or on the computer. It really is a cult classic!!!! Thanks to The Gourds for showing that music is music, no matter the genre.
