Goose rules. He rightfully reads the riot act to the NY press after some knucklehead asks a bad question. Gossage is finally in the HOF. The press hates him because he didn't kiss their butt, but they finally realized he is one of the greatest relievers ever and should be in. Plus, no roids.

Interesting fact: 125 of the 310 total saves that Gossage earned required him to pitch at least two innings apiece. This includes the 24 saves that he earned in which he had to pitch at least three innings.

I remember that like it was yesterday. I was in Jr. High and I remember that The Boss did have a comeback about less quacking. Being a New Yorker, it's even funnier to hear a country Northern boy like Goose spew NY style venom. He actually pronounced th ending "r" sound in "Mother F*&^ers. The correct NY pronunciation is Mutha Fu**az!! But the emotion was true and so is Goose. HOF!!!! RIP Bobby Murcer.
