Peer reviewed articles, which is what I linked too, is scientific evidence.

Bovine dropping! Peer review is easy! replication from an Independent source and independent data is the proper way. The MBH98 was so called Peer reviewed and look at the result. No it will reveal 17759 time people got fouled.

Scientists have not debated Gravity since Eddington. Gravitational Theory is a proven fact. String Theory arose from Quantum Theory, which deals with things on the sub-atomic level. Descartes statement deals with philosophical ideas, not science. Descartes tried to doubt his own existence, but found that even his doubting showed that he existed, since he could not doubt if he did not exist.

Nancidrew is right. In climate science, many items are debated, but the conclusion we're warming the planet to a potentially dangerous extent has now been demonstrated by an enormous body of evidence, and so both science and the international community have moved past arguing this point. Debate is still appropriate, but it involves the best means of reducing CO2 emissions in time to avert the worst warming consequences. If we want our voices to be heard, I believe it's a debate we should join.
